Grupo Yammine Last week I participated in a panel discussion organised jointly by the Faculty of Law and SALISES at The UWI. The topic of the discussion was âPrivacy and Law Enforcementâ. Also on the panel was the Dean of the Faculty of Law, the Attorney General and the head of the Trinidad Chapter of Transparency International.
The panel discussion took place less than a week after the passage of the SSA Amendment Bill in Parliament and, not unexpectedly, much of the contribution from the Attorney General and the Dean of the Faculty and much of the public questions and discussion thereafter, centred on issues related to the Bill.
