THE bamboo stalks and garbage that choked a water course in St Augustine in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Bret were cleared yesterday.
Clean-up operation began after midday on Wednesday, said Tunapuna/Piarco Regional Corporaiton chairman Paul Leacock.
He said in five hours, tonnes of the refuse were lifted out of the tributary of the Caroni River, at the corner or Freeman and Trantrill roads.
