The spirit lingered into Finance Minister Colm Imbert?s impassioned appeal for Opposition support for legislation which he said could cause T&T?s banking system and economy to crash if not passed.

Imbert in Parliament confirmed the first session of the 11th Parliament prorogues on September 22. Second session begins soon after. The 2017 Budget is expected in that period before monthend. PNM officials estimate delivery in the last week of September or, latest, first, in October. 

The package will move on from First Year Adjustment, addressing questions on Government?s grand plan/Vision 2030.
